How to Assemble Changeling Dolls - Dolls may be printed on plain paper or on card stock for extra stability.
Cut out the two double figures. Fold on the dotted lines so that the upper part of each of the four figures projects forward as shown in the picture below. Fold on the lines where the characters' feet join each other so that the colored surfaces face outward, and then, beginning at the feet, glue the front of Character 1 to the back of Character 2 as far as the dotted lines. Do this for both character pairs. Now paste together the front and back of the upper part of character 1. Then paste together the front and back of Character 2.
Now if Character 1 is held by the feet and turned inside out, Character 2 will appear, and vice versa. The Changelings should stand alone. If they do not stand firmly after you have turned them, pinch or squeeze them along the dotted lines.
Use your imagination and have fun. Adults should supervise children while they work on projects and while playing with the completed crafts.
